Day 1-Shillong Arrival (100km 3-4hrs road time)

Our trip begins as the car pick you up from the airport in Guwahati. We then stop to visit the Kamakhya Temple at Guwahati(optional). We then transfer to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East’ While traveling view the majestic Umiam Lake surrounded by sylvan hills and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines and the azure blue skies. On reaching we will do a little local sightseeing then head to hotel and relax.

Day2-Laitlum and Mawphlang Day trip (60 km 3hrs road time)

Today is a relax day. Have a relax morning and start your day, firstwe head towards the majestic Laitlum Canyons, this exotic viewing site offers the best panoramic views of the whole of Meghalaya embraced by the majestic hills and valleys. We then move to Mawphlang and take a guided tour of the Sacred Forest and learn about the legends surrounding this forest and its connection to the Khasi religion and culture. After a short trek of the forest, we conclude Mawphlang Sacred Forest with an organized picnic lunch. After the sacred forest we go to a few more locations in and around Shillong.

Day 3-Shillong – Sohra (60km 1-2hrs road time)

Sohra is a paradise for nature lovers and this little town has some of the most incredible tourist spots that will leave you in awe. We start a day by heading towards Sohra and stop along the way at Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint and enjoy ziplining across the gorges. We then enter the Garden of Caves along the way. Garden of Caves is an amazingly beautiful place near Sohra, which is decorated by nature herself — the place is beautifully organized by caves, rocky hills, waterfalls, narrow streams, and endless greenery. Next we head to Nohkalikai Falls. Plunging from a height of 1115 feet, We then go to nearby Mawsmai Cave. Mawsmai cave is a breathtaking maze of caves in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya.

Day 4-Sohra Day of Adventure (30km 1-2hrs road time)

This day we start the day early and head to Arwah Cave. Known for its limestone formations and the fossils, it is one of the popular caves in Meghalaya. Surrounded by the thick forest of Law Shynna in Meghalaya, Arwah Cave is an absolute treat for adventure and archaeology junkies. After this we head to Mawkma Village which has many beautiful waterfalls and crystal clear pools which we can have a dip. We head back to the hotel

Overnight stay -Sohra 

Day 5 -Sohra – Guwahati Airport (160kms 2-3hrs road time)

We leave Sohra for the airport in the morning. Along the way stop at Shillong to do any last-minute shopping. We then move along and stop at Orchid Lake Resort at Umiam and enjoy boating and the beautiful view of the lake. Then we drive to Guwahati airport and the tour ends at the airport
